MONDAY MFV PLAYER SPOTLIGHT

We head down to one of my favorite places off New Cut Road, to highlight freshman ⭐️ out of Archbishop Spalding High School, Brian Snowden Jr.  MFV would like to raise awareness that Brian came in to the Spalding football program under a lot of pressure ( REMEMBER, Alumni, Malik Washington, had previously led the Cavaliers to 3 straight MIAA A Football Championships) and so I’m sure expectations were high for Snowden to be a good replacement to lead the team to future successes. With resilience, Brian fit right in, adjusting well and leading the team to their 4th consecutive title this past 2025. For a freshman QB, this is not easy to do. Snowden Jr accomplished that, it that is pretty amazing.

I want to remind you this highlight is based off covering the Cavaliers and the BP Broncos over a few years. Strictly based off of observation. I do not personally know Brian.

IF YOU WERE TO LOOK AT BRIAN SNOWDEN JR, WHAT MAKES HIM STAND OUT?

🔥QUICK & EFFICIENTLY ADAPTIVE TO CHALLENGES – In his freshman year on varsity football, Brian learned quickly the ins and outs of leading a team, a team with a lot more seasoned players. He faced his mistakes head on and learned how to adapt to his receivers, O-Line, and coaches in a way most freshman do not grasp their first year.

🔥 HUMBLE MULTISPORT ATHELETE – Brian also participated in JV basketball. His skills scream varsity, but he took the JV route willing to help his team win and develop. Arrogance could have led him to demand a varsity spot, however he chose the humble way to go. That should be noted.

🔥BIG ACCOMPLISHMENTS – Snowden Jr achieved SI’s 2025 All State Private School Division 1 Second Team QB, Capital Gazette All-County First Tram QB, Offers from the University of Maryland, Washington Post All Metro QB Honorable Mention, and a 2025 MIAA A Football Champion. 

🔥 HONORABLE CHARACTER – Brian demonstrates great character. Off the field, off the court, he is respectful to all, and very well mannered individual. He gets along well with his teammates and classmates. He also portrays an excellent sideline presence. Others want to be around him. You’ll witness coaches coaching him as he remains, showing forth great patience.

🔥 ALL AROUND DAWG – Just watch videos of him, escaping out of pocket collapses, and throwing a nice dot to his WRs. Basketball is no different, he is your playmaker.
