The LAX boys were out: the Patterson Mill Huskies came to Glen Burnie High School for a weekend tourney facing first the host, the Glen Burnie Gophers. Beautiful day and the sun was out too in full force.  The atmosphere was set for a super battle between two hungry to win high schools.

1ST HALF – This half belonged to the Gophers.  Their first two goals actually led the Huskies to call a quick time out. Even after that, the Gophers kept adding points, and eventually would go in to the half leading 9-2.

2ND HALF – The Huskies took the opportunity to make this a game. Nine scores came to them, as they increased their attack on GB. However, the Gophers maintained their composure and took the victory by 3 points, winning 14-11. 

CONGRATULATIONS GOPHERS, awesome way to start off your tournament. Continue working hard and putting in the work that makes you successful. KEEP GRINDING HUSKIES, it was great to see the good team you have in Harford County.
