🥍 🥍 ANOTHER ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY LAX SHOWDOWN
🆚 Annapolis vs Glen Burnie
📍Glen Burnie, Maryland @ Glen Burnie HS
📝 Kmillz (MFVAllSportsNetwork)
The athletic department and some helpers were setting up a Glen Burnie balloon structure for the senior track stars to be honored before the lacrosse game MFVAllSportsNetwork was covering. Behind such intriguing sight stood two teams warming up. Both focused, both setting a goal of getting better this year in lacrosse. The anticipation was building for competition to ensue and our assumption was the match between the Annapolis Panthers and the Glen Burnie Gophers was going to be a great one. The atmosphere was in check, and on the horizon, an excellent display of LAX.

1ST HALF – The battle ensued from the very beginning, as Annapolis won the first face off against one very talented Glen Burnie midfield, #99 Daniel Buruca. The Panthers would later draw first blood, putting the first points on the board. But Glen Burnie answered right back adding a score. This set the pace for the game. They pretty much went back and forth with the Gophers leading going in to the half, 8-7.

2ND HALF – The plight of the Panthers revealed itself. They quickly tied the game up scoring first at the beginning of the 3rd period. It could be perceived Annapolis was trying to get an advantage on Glen Burnie making them to struggle by playing from behind. It worked, as Annapolis made some key stops causing the Gophers to turnover the ball. These things happen in close games and it didn’t take away from Glen Burnie putting up an excellent fight.
CONGRATULATIONS ANNAPOLIS on the 15-11 victory. You guys are really on the rise. KEEP GRINDING GOPHERS, you guys are still on the up and up. BOTH TEAMS, learn the essential lessons from this game and go be great!!!!
Always SPECIAL THANKS to hosts Glen Burnie Gophers for the exceptional hospitality.
