- THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS BATTLE OF BETHESDA TURNS INTO A BIG TIME SHUTOUT 10-8-2026
Two teams, one field prepared for battle; it’s the Battle of Bethesda. The visiting Bethesda school, Bethesda-Chevy Chase (aka B-CC) came to face the home Bethesda team, Walter Johnson. Sizing up the teams, this looked like it was going to be evenly matched. Thought it surely would be a back and forth of scoring drives. Soon to discover something very different would take place. The Barons of B-CC would dominate pretty this whole extravaganza.
THE SPARK
The momentum shifted when the Barons got a scoop and score after their previous touchdown drive. Something awoke B-CC to take completely over. I do not even remember a time that they even punted to their opposition . It is right to conclude Bethesda Chevy Chase owned the game.
THE FIGHT TO THE END
While I know it absolutely sucks to lose in such a manner, body language of the Wildcats said don’t give up, fight to the end. And that they did do. Listen to the lessons learned Walter Johnson from your coaches. Still proud of you, and am completely thankful MFV All Sports could come see you play. That’s a pleasure, whether you win or lose.
CONGRATS to the Barons. You guys set out to win and you won big. Glad to see you work hard tonight. It was our first time filming you, and you guys performed great.
Wishing both teams MUCH SUCCESS!!! SPECIAl GRATITUDE to the AD of Walter Johnson and their staff for opening up your field to MFV All Sports Network. Thanks for your proficiency for safety and correct adherence to protocol. Much appreciated.
FINAL SCORE: BARONS – 60 WILDCATS – 0
